Kids

A little girl swings away on her pink seat

That night she didn’t deserve to be beat.

A little boy watches with his beautiful blue eyes

While his father throws little Tommy, in the air, he flys.

Tragedy and abuse is a normal occurrence,

For the kids are born without a natural deterrence.

Parents and other figures of authority

Just abuse the opportunity.

The opportunity to help a young mind grow

Instead they’re only concerned with their all time low.

Some people should never be parents

Only to some that’s all too apparent.

Every day the young and helpless

Die along with their dreams, leaving me restless.

Their eyes leave you speechless, broken

But their laughter and joy is the sweetest thing ever spoken.

Don’t pity, save.

Get people to behave.

For the kids.

For their future’s.
